 피닉스, 태극, 불꽃 형상화

「GAS KOREA 2002」를   상징하는 엠블럼은 고대 이집트  신화에 등장하는 영원불멸의 상징인 피닉스(phoenix)와 태극, 불꽃을 형상화시킨 것으로, 꺼지지 않는 가스산업의 위상을 알리고 한국 가스산업이 세계로 도약하는 의미를 갖습 니다. 또한 엠블럼의 색상인 파랑, 군청, 연두는 21세기의 청정에너지인 가스의「클린, 그린」을 뜻합니다.
