Dear Colleagues of the World Gas Industry,

Wishing your brisk and prosperous future, I am pleased to invite you to GAS KOREA 2004 to be held in Seoul from 15 March, 2004.

Currently, about 99 percent of the total households in Korea is using gas for cooking and heating purposes. In 2002, 9.44 million households used Liquefied Natural Gas and its consumption reached 11.19 million tons while the consumption of LP gas reached 7.9 million tons used by 7.92 million households. In this context, various gas appliances and safety devices have shown steady growth in the market.

Keeping pace with the development trend of the domestic gas industry, the Organizing Committee of Gas Korea, centering around the Korea Gas Newspaper, has been hosting the biennial exhibition and conference specialized in gas sector.

In 2000, 106 companies from 16 countries took part in the exhibition. Especially in 2002, 72 companies from 12 countries opened booth for displaying their new products, which gained popular favor from domestic and overseas gas industry and resulted in numerous business talks and purchase contracts.

Based on this experience and knowhow, the Organizing Committee is currently striving to invite exhibitors and buyers in order to make GAS KOREA 2004 an another successful event.

Particularly notable is that the Organizing Committee is doing its best to provide those foreign exhibitors with improved service including moderate expenses and convenience. In addition, free tickets for exhibition and conference will be prepared for the convenience of foreign visitors. The Organizing Committee is also keen to prepare decent technical and cultural tour programs to provide for foreigners during their stay in Korea.
